Created a custom resume engine that treats career data as source code. Built a Python-based pipeline that parses YAML source files into HTML and PDF formats. This tool also uses a watcher script for real-time browser rendering.

Overhauled the certificate management documentation to update procedures for a wide range of third-party applications. This initiative established the Cloudflare One documentation as the authoritative source for adding certificates to these third-party applications, surpassing competitor resources in both comprehensive coverage and technical accuracy.

Implemented the APIRequest component to standardize how API requests are documented across the developer platform. This component simplifies the authoring process for technical writers and improves consistency for developers consuming the API documentation.

Led the Cloudflare One data security documentation for Cloudflare’s inaugural AI Week. Developed technical guides for CASB and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) integrations with LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini), focusing on preventing misconfigurations and sentiment-based data leaks for enterprise organizations. Served as the primary content stakeholder for the Cloudflare One Experiences team to resolve persistent user confusion regarding Zero Trust SaaS app integrations. Used user feedback to create a centralized Application Library documentation strategy, providing a single source of truth for IT approval and integration workflows.

Created a comprehensive tutorial demonstrating how to use Cloudflare Gateway to control AI wrapper tenant access. This guide helps administrators secure their organization’s usage of AI tools by enforcing Gateway tenant control policies.

Documented the Redirect action for Gateway HTTP policies, a highly requested capability that simplifies traffic management by applying HTTP 3xx redirects directly from policies. This replaced complex workarounds with native policy controls, improving the user experience for managing HTTP redirects.

CASB expanded its integrations to support FedRAMP variants for ServiceNow, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365. To support this effort, I created documentation for these more secure variants according to the FedRAMP requirements. These changes directly correlated with an increase in performance ratings in the Gartner Magic Quadrant (MQ) survey.

Documented the new Managed Service Provider (MSP) feature set, enabling strategic partners to manage multi-tenant environments efficiently. This work involved creating new workflows for account provisioning and policy management tailored specifically for MSP architectures.

Standardized and expanded API usage examples across Gateway HTTP, Network, and DNS policies. This revamp improved the developer experience by providing consistent, usable examples for common policy configurations, addressing a key pain point for developers building on the Gateway API.

Led the change management strategy for a critical security migration following the global Cloudflare root certificate expiration. Managed stakeholder communication and technical documentation to guide enterprise users through transition to unique account-based certificates. Successfully mitigated major service disruptions.

Documented Gateway file sandboxing, detailing how to automatically analyze suspicious files in a secure environment. This work involved explaining the sandboxing workflow to help security teams identify zero-day threats.

Acted as a technical lead in migrating the Cloudflare Developer Docs from legacy Hugo site framework to a modern Starlight (Astro) framework. Made foundational IA decisions, updated global styling, and ported Hugo components to JSX to improve site performance and contributor experience.

Created a reference validation matrix for Gateway selectors to help users understand which selectors work with specific policy actions. This implementation uses reusable components to ensure consistency across all selector definitions, significantly reducing maintenance overhead and ensuring a unified developer experience across the Gateway docs.

Implemented HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end of internal tool based on designs from UX Content Strategy team. The PCX CLUE (Content Legibility for User Ease) Index is an internal tool used to help stakeholders evaluate their contributions to docs, UI, API, and email content based on best practices and our internal style guide.

Represented Cloudflare as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) at 2024 PyCon US industry conference in Pittsburgh, PA. Used direct developer interactions and UX surveys to identify documentation pain points.

Authored a tutorial for enterprise Microsoft 365 deployments using dedicated egress IPs. This guide addressed a common enterprise compliance requirement, providing a verified configuration path for securing M365 traffic without triggering geolocation-based security blocks.

Adapted internal Cloudflare UI design guidelines for the public-facing Cloudflare style guide. By externalizing these guidelines, I made contributions easier for the community and ensured UI consistency across our global open-source docs.

Documented the Gateway resolver policies feature, allowing administrators to implement custom DNS resolution paths. This highly requested feature enables complex routing logic for hybrid networks, allowing enterprise customers to deploy Cloudflare Gateway alongside existing internal DNS resolvers.

Authored the documentation for user risk scoring, Cloudflare One’s User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) feature. This content explained how behavioral signals are aggregated into risk scores, allowing security teams to enforce policies based on real-time user risk levels.

Led a comprehensive audit to remove non-inclusive language across the Cloudflare One documentation. Systematically replaced input-specific instructions with input-neutral language (for example, “navigate to” —> “go to”) to improve accessibility and align with modern technical writing standards.

I maintain the docs page for installing the Cloudflare certificate required by the WARP client to intercept and filter traffic. This work involves testing and documenting how to install certificates to various operating systems, desktop programs, and SaaS apps.

Audited and migrated fragmented Zero Trust tutorials into standardized common policy examples.

I maintain the documentation for Cloudflare Data Loss Prevention (DLP). When we released predefined entries for DLP profiles (which adds the ability to detect known patterns in your Zero Trust organization’s traffic, such as SSNs and credit card numbers), I restructured the DLP docs to guide users through a more logical workflow.

Led the documentation response for the strategic merge of the Cloudflare “core” and Zero Trust dashboards. Updated the documentation to reflect new feature discoverability paths and ensure a seamless transition for all Cloudflare users.

Documented the OR logical operator in Gateway policies, enabling more flexible and concise policy logic. This update allowed administrators to combine multiple conditions into single policies, simplifying policy management.

Worked in a team of 5 to conceptualize and prototype an app to help students find and rate study spaces on campus. Watch our problem space video.

Implemented HTML components for site builder (Hugo) to organize all product landing pages. We designed this template to serve as a “nutrition label” for each Cloudflare product. I programmed the components to be flexible and extensible without cluttering Markdown code.

Authored new documentation for Argo Smart Routing by combining information from multiple different sources across the Cloudflare documentation. This new page acts as a single point-of-presence for Argo documentation for over three million monthly users.
